Balochistan slaps ban on wall chalking

QUETTA: Balochistan Governor Zulifqar Magsi on Tuesday slapped a ban on wall chalking in the city and ordered the administration to remove all posters from city.
The governor told a meeting held to review security that law and order situation had improved in the province after the imposition of governor's rule. He said law enforcement agencies had carried out 129 targeted operations in the province in which huge cache of weapons and explosives were seized and many suspects were arrested.
He said that people can keep only licensed arms with themselves for their protection. Since the Election Commission has permitted recruitment in police, more people will be hired for the force immediately, he added.
