04 August, 2014
FAISALABAD: Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that Imran Khan's Azadi March is being organised by Taliban in order to divert the attention of the government and army from operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Talking to media persons here on Sunday, Abid Sher Ali said that Imran and Taliban have same agenda and the PTI leader was using the language of Taliban as well. He said Imran Khan should be tried for demanding resumption of dialogue with the Taliban.
He said like Taliban who does not recognise the constitution and democratic system in Pakistan, Imran Khan is not ready to accept the law and democratic institution, and in fact wants country's division.
He paid tributes to the Jawans and officers of the armed forces who sacrificed their lives for the country and said that the army would eliminate terrorists from Pakistani soil forever.
He said the entire nation is standing shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces.
About the statement of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, Abid Sher Ali said he should return to Pakistan and issues would be resolved by sitting across the table. He said it is easy to make statements while sitting abroad.
