Assemblies to be dissolved on March 16: Khurshid Shah

SUKKUR: The Minister for Religious Affairs‚ Syed Khurshid Shah has said that the assemblies would be dissolved on March 16 and general elections would be held in May.

Talking to media in Sukkur on Sunday, the minister said the PPP-led coalition government is making decisions in line with the aspirations of the people.

The Religious Affairs Minister said a stable political system is more important than getting into power.

He urged the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to give its nominations for the care-taker set up. He said that people of southern Punjab will realise as who are supporting and opposing them.
