Arrest, harassment of youth in occupied Kashmir denounced

SRINAGAR: In occupied Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM), Zafar Akbar Butt, has strongly denounced the arrest and harassment of innocent youth by Indian troops and police.
Zafar Akbar Butt while talking to people during mass contact programme in Chrar-e-Sharief and Chadoora areas of Badgam said that India would not succeed to suppress the ongoing Kashmir liberation movement through military might. He said that the people of Kashmir would their struggle for securing their right to self-determination till complete success.
The APHC leader appealed to the world human rights organisations to put pressure on India to take notice of the rights violations in the territory and release all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyet leaders including Hakeem Abdur Rashid, Abdur Rashid Untoo and Imtiyaz Resh, lodged in Baramulla.
Party leaders Zulfiqar Hameed, Mushtaq Frahee, Muzaffar Malik, Aijaz Ahmed and Ghulam Nabi accompanied Zafar Akbar Butt.
