ISLAMABAD: Former information minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad has said army and Taliban are the real parties and neither any talks will be held nor operation will be conducted against Taliban without the clearance chit from army.

"Neither any talks will take place nor any operation will be conducted against the Taliban without clearance of army. Whenever any operation will be carried out against those who are killing the people and beheading the innocent persons, it will be conducted with the clearance chit from army", he said this while talking to the media men outside parliament house here Thursday.

The policies being devised by the government are only on the papers and the real job has to be done either by army or Taliban, he held. .

He said prominent persons like Gen Javed, Gen Niazi and Gen Mushtaq have been martyred and whosoever say they don't understand talks are blind of wisdom.

"We have no national policy. Policy is what the army has to evolve. Army is sitting on front seat of vehicle. The matters will stand resolved automatically if army okays. Neither interior minister can do any thing nor any one else. The real stake holders are army and Taliban", he remarked.
