Appoint a new coach... By Nayyar
04 February, 2013
The nation demands that Mr Zaka Ashraf, Chairman PCB, immediately sack this much hyped professional coach of the Pakistani cricket team, Dav Whatmore, for being directly responsible for the ever declining standards of the team's batting. Just recently, our cricket team got out in the 1st innings of the 1st test match against the South African cricket team on the lowest ever test score of just 49 runs. In fact, February 2, 2013, will be remembered as the 'black day' of Pakistani cricket. There are serious apprehensions that if the PCB persists with Dav Whatmore any further, our team's test status may be revoked by the ICC. As such, in the larger national interest, our countrymen are fully justified in demanding the immediate appointment of Mr Mohsin Hassan Khan (who lately proved, with results, to be the most successful coach in the cricketing history of Pakistan), as head coach of the Pakistan cricket team. Moreover, he should be advised to take over the charge of this job in South Africa as soon as possible. In case Mr Mohsin is not available for any reason whatsoever, either Mr Wasim Bari or Mr Abdul Qadir fully deserve to be appointed as head coach of the Pakistan cricket team. SYED NAYYAR UDDIN AHMAD
