Another bank looted in Karachi

07 July, 2012

KARACHI: Despite tall claims of security, another bank was looted in Jackson Market area within the vicinity of Jackson police station.

Police informed that around five robbers entered a private bank at 10:25am, held the staff hostage at gunpoint, looted Rs 259,000 and fled to unknown destination.

Police have obtained the CCTV cameras footage from the bank, which suggested that the four culprits wore Shalwar Kameez while one wore pent shirt, adding that the culprits were communicating with each other in Pashtu. Officials said that the two security guards were on duty at the bank when the robbers entered in it, but the guards did not offer resistance.

End.
