An angry nation... By Hashim

Pakistani society is still plagued by the injustices committed in the past. It is a known fact that some people are gaining by unfair means in this country. A sense of deprivation develops when people compare their own position with others. The same goes for the working environment, and even living conditions in various neighbourhoods. Expectations are often raised unrealistically and this may contribute to the rise in crime.
A classic example is the wide gap between the millions of helpless and vulnerable people in poor living conditions, sometimes not even having a roof over their heads despite the multi-billion rupee constructions going on in a chosen few cities. Hence, we have many very angry people who see their lives becoming meaningless. Millions of people live in abject poverty with no hope for their or their children's future and, therefore, have become angry and frustrated people.
