American soldier dies

KABUL: An American soldier was killed in an "insurgent attack" in eastern Afghanistan on Tuesday, the military coalition said.
An ISAF press release available with the AIP stated: "A U.S. Forces-Afghanistan service member died following an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan today," The press release did not mention exact location of the incident.
The Taliban claimed causing casualties to foreign forces in attacks on foreign forces in eastern provinces of Laghman and Logar today.
