ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday affirmed that all institutions, including the army, were united against terrorism.

Talking to the princes of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) who met him at his Raiwind residency, the PM said it was imperative for all political parties to unite against terrorism, adding that Pakistan has drawn all its focus to counter terrorism.

The princes of UAE expressed grief while condemning the Peshawar attack and vowed to stand by Pakistan to combat the nuisance of terrorism.

Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan would continue to target all terrorist organisations irrespective of their agenda and affiliation.

He was talking to a six-member Chinese delegation headed by Vice Minister of the International Department of the Committee of the Communist Party of China Chen Fengxiang on Saturday.

He said that Operation Zarb-e-Azb has produced very positive results and many terrorists have been killed and captured.
