After giving three Bollywood hits in a row and proving his mettle with comedy and rom-com genre, Ali Zafar is all set to enthral his fans with some flying kicks, explosions and roundhouse punches.

The actor who is playing the lead role in 'Chashme Buddoor', a 1981 cult comedy remake, releasing in July 2012, will be seen doing some serious action in his fifth film, which is also a remake.

This action film is written and directed by N Linguswami, and it will be a remake of the 2011 Tamil blockbuster, 'Vettai'. The director has still not finalised any female cast of the film but the two brothers in lead roles, played by Madhavan and Arya in the initial project will be played by Ali Zafar and Shahid Kapoor respectively.

Ali Zafar who will be seen playing the brother who is sensitive to violence and Shahid Kapoor will play a jobless rogue, settled in Thoothukudhi. As the story unfolds some unfortunate events make the non-violent brother (played by Ali Zafar) lose his fear and rise up against his enemies with his brother.

The film also promises good background score as Vishal-Shekhar have been signed for the Hindi remake. The Tamil version had some catchy tracks by Yuvan Shankar Raj.

All those Ali Zafar fans who were craving for some raw action from the actor would adulate the hardcore masculine heroism he has in store for all.

End.
