Agenda of 'Goldsmith' will be buried on 22nd: Fazl

KARACHI: Responding to PTI Chairman Imran Khan's Saturday speech in Lakki Marwat, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said the "agenda of Goldsmith" would be buried on August 22 by-elections.
"I would not respond to the PTI chief in abusive language," Fazl said while reacting to Imran's statement that Pakistan needed no foreign agent in the presence of people like the Maulana.
The JUI-F chief said he would not allow Imran and his party to prosper which, according to him, had failed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He told his supporters in Tank that the government could never function properly without support of his party.
Commenting on the KP government's performance, he said that running affairs of the government and the province is not a child's play. The JUI-F chief alleged the KP government had "omitted Islamic fundamentals from the course books". He said that the PTI has entrusted the educational set-up to NGOs and "we have repeatedly protested over the issue".
He also alleged that the PTI is "brainwashing the youth" and called Imran "an enemy of the nation's ideology". "Imran is in favour of living with his divorced wife," he also alleged. He further said that the JUI-F had offered unconditional support to the PML-N's government.
Fazl said that rains in the country have destroyed the communication systems. He demanded that the government help the flood victims and provide them relief.
Earlier speaking in Lakki Marwat, Imran slammed the JUI-F for calling him a "Jewish agent", and said Pakistan needed no foreign agent in the presence of people like the Maulana. "When he [Fazlur Rehman] is here, there is no need for another Jew agent," Imran said.
