Afghanistan, Pakistan Should fight terrorism, Extremism: Karzai

KABUL: President Hamid Karzai has said that both Pakistan and Afghanistan should seriously fight against terrorism and extremism and work for establishing trust amongst each other.
The Afghan president expressed these views while meeting with Parliament delegation of Pakistan headed by leader of Watan Qaumi Party, BNA reports
During this meeting which was held in presidential palace, the parliament delegation of Pakistan informed the president about its visit from Afghanistan and its participation in 11th session of parliament delegations of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Afterwards, both sides discussed and exchanged views in connection with counterterrorism, peace and security in Afghanistan, Pakistan and region and also improvement of trust between the two nations.
President Karzai suggested that although there is trust between the peoples of Afghanistan and Pakistan, but war and insecurity is the only reason for lack of trust that the governments of the two countries should seriously fight for its removal and against terrorism and extremism.
During this meeting, both sides laid emphasize on cooperation between the two countries for establishment of peace and stability in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
