ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office has issued new sets of instructions for all foreign diplomats in Pakistan under which diplomats activities, including that of US, would be fully scrutinized.

According to new instructions, the foreign diplomats have been instructed to report to Foreign Ministry and seek permission in case of any travel outside the city. All diplomats on arrival to Pakistan would be bound to register with the Foreign office, media reports quoting Foreign office officials said.

Activities of all foreign diplomats including that of US would be fully monitored and no diplomat would be allowed to change his number plate.

Strict action would be taken against any diplomat who violates these instructions.

The new directives have been sent to all foreign missions.
