Absurd allegation... By M. Khan

31 January, 2014

Jamshed Dasti during his speech in the National Assembly has said that those opposing the construction of Kalabagh Dam (KBD) are traitors and agents of India or the US. It is pertinent to mention here that three out of four provinces have passed resolutions against the building of KBD.

Therefore going by the statement made by Jamshed Dasti, does it mean that other than those living in Punjab, the rest of the citizens are traitors or Indian and US agents? This is a highly objectionable and crude observation. If built forcefully, KBD would further weaken the federation of Pakistan. I hereby suggest to Jamshed Dasti to immediately take back his objectionable remarks and tender an unconditional apology to the people of Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
