APC merely an eyewash, delaying tactic: JUI-S

ISLAMABAD: Declaring APC (All Parties Conference) as mere eyewash, Jamiat Ulema e Islam- Sami-ul-Haq (JUI-S) spokesman, Maulana Muhammad Yousaf Shah has regretted hints of reviewing APC recommendations instead of carrying them forward.
Talking exclusively to ONLINE, JUI(S) spokesman for Maulana Sami-ul-Haq, Maulana Muhammad Yousaf Shah has expressed full cooperation of JUI(S) in the matter and said that had the government been serious about dialogue, the dialogue would have been well underway by now.
He accused hidden hands of trying to foment discord, instability of Pakistan, and while warning about a very deep conspiracy against the Federation, has stressed on government to take decisive steps in better interests of all concerned. Replying to a question, he expressed his strong uncertainty about dialogue, which was creating a rampant trust-deficit, which required to be rectified at earliest.
Replying to another question, he cited Maulana Sami-ul-Haq's earlier ready offer for cooperative mediator for dialogue between government and Taliban, but expressed his strong belief that these offers would be hindered by hidden hands, not in favor of peace.
Replying to yet another question, he regretted defensive profile of Prime minister over the issue of drone attacks, which stand a chance of being resolved through a confident straight forward stance.
He expressed that the entire world took loans, aid from international Banks, countries, but such issues do not entail selling one's national honor and pride.
Stressing that if USA could hold dialogues with Taliban, he saw no reason why couldn't (shouldn't) Pakistan follow suite.
He also ruled out the need for any further APCs, since, "If government is really serious for dialogue, the Parliamentary Resolutions, declarations and recommendations of former APCs were sufficient".
