ANF seizes 10.27 tonnes of hashish

KARACHI: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sindh in a successful operation claimed to have seized 10.271 tonnes of hashish here on Friday. This was stated by Core Commander (ANF) Sindh Brigadier Muhammad Wajid during a press briefing at Regional Directorate ANF G-13, Block-8, Clifton. Wajid informed that action was taken on a tip-off in which a huge quantity of hashish sh was seized. ANF Sindh team conducted a raid at a godown in Mauripur road area and successfully seized 10.271 tonnes of hashish during the raid. He elaborated that the timely operation of ANF Sindh foiled the attempts of smugglers to smuggle the huge cache of drug abroad. He said that no one was taken into custody as the smugglers managed to flee. FIR against the culprits has been lodged and efforts were afoot to arrest the culprits involved in the incident. End.
