6 killed over land dispute in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: At least six persons, including a woman, were killed while three others injured in a clash between two brothers in the jurisdiction of Umer Zai Police Station on Sunday.

According to reports, the clash took place between two brothers and their children over a land dispute. Both sides opened fire on each other, killing six people. Heavy contingent of police reached the scene and moved the bodies and injured to civil hospital.

Police also conducted an operation to arrest the accused but they could not arrest anyone. According to residents, both brothers were engaged in confrontation since long over land dispute.
