HERAT: Newly completed development projects have been opened for public welfare in Pashtun Zarghun district of Herat province, an official said Tuesday. Fifty-nine development projects competed by spending 69 million Afghanis included eight water provision schemes, 17 bridges, three projects of electricity, five social centres, drinking water wells and construction of concrete roads, the Herat rural development department chairman Aaqa Muhammad Sidiqee told the AIP.
