HERAT (AIP): Four Taliban and five combined troops were killed after a clash in Bala Balok district of western Farah province yesterday, Taliban and local officials said Monday.

A clash took place between Taliban and combined force in Shewan area of Bala Balok district yesterday which lasted for four hours, Qari Muhammad Yousaf Ahmadi, spokesman for Taliban, told AIP.

"Five combined troops were killed and three wounded while three Taliban also embraced martyrdom during the firefight," he said.
