5 killed in firing on car in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Some unidentified armed men gunned down five people and wounded three others early on Sunday in Dera Ismail Khan, officials said. According to the local police, armed assailants attacked a vehicle near Shaikh Yousaf Chowk while it was on its way to Dera Ismail Khan from Bannu Road, killing four and injuring three in the post-dawn attack. The police have initiated investigations into the matter. It said that the victims were vegetable traders and were going to the market. The bodies of the dead and injured have been shifted to a local hospital, while a search for the criminals was underway. End.
