4 dead in Balochistan target killings

QUETTA: As many as four people were killed in separate incidents of targeted killing in the provincial capital and in interior Balochistan, on Wednesday.

According to the details, a man identified as Atta Muhammad Muhammadshai killed his own brother Abdul Wahab over a family feud in Kili Chiltan area of Quetta. In another act of targeted killing, a man identified as Abdul Manan was gunned down by unidentified persons in Shahwani Mohala in New Sariab.

Police shifted the body to the Civil Hospital Quetta where it was handed over to the heirs after medico-legal formalities. The reason of the murder could not be ascertained. Police have registered a case into the incident and have begun investigation.

The third incident occurred in Rojan Jamali, Jaffarabad district, where a man was killed by unidentified men who later dumped his body in open fields. Levies Force took custody of the corpse and handed it over to the family members after necessary legal formalities.

The motive behind the killing could not be ascertained till the filing of this report. Meanwhile, a man was gunned down by unidentified persons in Dhadar area of Kachi District by unidentified men. The assailants managed to escape after the murder. The identity of the deceased could not be determined till the time of filing of this report.
