3 killed in Balochistan

QUETTA: Three people were killed and another was wounded in separate incidents of firing and a landmine blast in different towns of Balochistan, on Monday.

Unidentified armed men shot dead a person in Pasni and fled from the scene. The police said that assailants came on a motorbike. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained immediately.

In another incident, armed men opened fire at the Jail Road of Sibi, killing one person, who was identified as Ali Jan. The assailants fled swiftly after the attack. Police shifted the body of the deceased to hospital for autopsy and later handed it over heirs.

Separately, a man on a motorbike was intercepted by armed bandits in Tambu Tehsil of Naseerabad district. They tried to snatch his bike and shot him dead when he offered resistance, and fled with the bike.
