3 Int`l Drug smugglers arrested: ANF

RAWALPINDI: Regional anti Narcotics Force Rawalpindi received special information that a gang of IDS attempted to smuggle the Fine Quality of Heroin from Islamabad to China/South Africa.

Accordingly a team of ANF was arranged, which intercepted a passenger namely Salman Shahid S/O Shahid Javed bound for Islamabad to China at Islamabad International Airport and recovered 450 Grams of Heroine, tactfully concealed in the false cavities of his suitcase and arrested him on the spot.

In 2nd operation the staff of ANF intercepted a passenger namely Rehmat Ullah S/O Abdul Baqi R/O Nangerhar Afghanistan bound for Islamabad to China at Islamabad International Airport.

During initial investigation the accused revealed that he is carrying Heroine filled capsules in his stomach and was admired in Rawalpindi General Hospital. 59x Heroine filed capsules have been delivered by the accused. Further recovery is also expected.

In 3rd operation. The staff of ANF intercepted a lady Passenger namely Dirontsho Lydia Makoka D/O Makoko South Africa bound for Islamabad to Dubai at Islamabad Airport. She was carrying Heroine capsules in her stomach and admitted in Rawalpindi General Hospital. 51x Heroine filled capsules have been delivered by the accused.

Cases under Section 9(B) Control of Narcotics Substance Act 1997 have been registered against the above name culprits. Further investigation is in progress.
