3 ANA troops killed in Taliban attacks

KABUL: Taliban attacks left three Afghan National Army (ANA) troops dead and four wounded in different regions of Afghanistan throughout the past 24 hours, defence ministry said Thursday.

The defence ministry said in a press release that the ANA troops were killed and wounded after bomb and direct attacks by anti-government gunmen in Helmand, Kunduz, Kunar, Logar, Paktia and Paktika provinces.

It said seven gunmen were also killed by security forces in Uruzgan, Ghazni and Logar provinces.

There was no word by Taliban in this regard.
