25 submit applications to sit on opp benches in BA

QUETTA: As many as 25 members of various political parties, including PPP and PML-N, submitted their applications in Balochistan Assembly secretariat for opposition benches on Monday morning. Talking to the media, they said that the appointment of a minister as the leader of the opposition is unconstitutional which was challenged in the High Court. "Within 24 hours five more ministers are going to resign which would increase our numbers from 25 to 30," they claimed. The president of PPP Balochistan chapter and member of provincial Assembly Sadiq Umrani, the member of provincial assembly from Muslim league (N) Captain retired Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, member of provincial assembly Sardar Aslam Bizenjo, the provincial president of Balochistan chapter PML-Q and member of provincial assembly Sheikh Jafar Khan Mendokhel, former speaker and member of provincial assembly Muhmamad Aslam Bhootani and others were among the MPAs who filed their applications for sitting on the opposition benches.
