2 killed, one injured in Balochistan

QUETTA: At least two people, including a Levies official, were killed, and one 12-year-old boy was injured in separate incidents in Balochistan. Meanwhile, security forces also foiled a subversive act by defusing a land mine planted in the area of Barkhan.

According to details, unidentified men attacked a checkpost of Levies in Mand area of Balochistan. Resultantly, one Levies official, head-constable Imamdad, was killed while another sustained injuries. Police sources said that an attacker was also killed in exchange of firing. The attackers took the rifle of the Levies official and also the body of their accomplice, police sources said.

In another incident, a 12-year boy sustained injuries in a land mine explosion.
