HERAT: At least two persons were killed and nine others wounded in separate traffic incidents in Ghor province, officials said Sunday.

An over speeding motorcar overturned in the limits of Chaghcharan, capital of Ghor province, this morning, leaving two women on board dead and four wounded, Abdul Hayee Khatipi, spokesman for provincial governor, told Afghan Islamic Press (AIP).

He said the victims were members of a same family and were on way to attending a wedding.

Elsewhere, five more persons were wounded in two separate road mishaps in the provincial, he said, adding three of the injured were stated to be in critical condition.
