2 bodies recovered, protest held against atrocities in IHK

Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, two bodies have been recovered from Kupwara and Islamabad districts.

Body of an unidentified man was recovered under suspicious circumstances from Bumhama Pehru Nallah in Kupwara. Police have registered a case and started investigation, a police officer said.

In another incident, body of one Ghulam Ahmad Shah, 55, was recovered from Nallah Liddar at Ashmuqam in Islamabad district.

Meanwhile, scores of people including women and children staged a protest demonstration against the atrocities and arrests of youth by Indian police personnel at Basant Nagar, Manderbagh and Gawakadal areas of Srinagar

The protesters told media that the men in uniform barged into their houses and mistreated the inmates, particularly women.
