KANDAHAR: Two anti-government individuals were killed and 20 more suspects were arrested in Khas Uruzgan district of Uruzgan province, official said Sunday.

The armed opponents attacked a police patrol in Kalkhor area of Khas Uruzgan district yesterday, the provincial police spokesman Farid Aayal told the AIP.

Two armed opponents were killed in the four-hour clash, he said, adding the police arrested 20 suspected anti-government elements and seized three motorcycles in a subsequent search in the area.
