2 PAF officials among 3 killed in Pasni

QUETTA: As many as three people, including two personnel of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF), were gunned down in Pasni, Gwadar District, on Monday. Station House Officer Imam Baloch, while talking to this correspondent, said that the Pakistan Air Force personnel were shopping at the Zareen Markeet when armed men on motorbike opened indiscriminate fire on them. Resultantly, three people, including two PAF personnel and a shopkeeper, were killed, while a PAF official sustained bullet injuries. The police and law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area, while the deceased and injured were taken to Civil Hospital Pasni. The deceased were identified as Muhammad Ibrahim from Skardu, Khurram Shahzad from Rawalpindi and the shopkeeper identified as Elahi Bukhsh, a resident of Mashkey, while the injured was identified as Nabi Shah. A case of the incident has been registered against the unidentified assailants and investigations are underway. Pasni Tehsildar Shey Akbar Baloch said that the security personnel had not informed the administration that they were going shopping in Pasni city. "The law and order situation is not good in Pasni and we had asked the security personnel to inform us before visiting the city so that we could provide them security," he said. Meanwhile, Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi strongly condemned the incident and ordered immediate arrest of the culprits. He directed the Makran Division commissioner to submit a report on the incident. End.
