16 terrorists killed in Bajaur, S Waziristan

BAJAUR: At least 16 terrorists, including a Taliban commander, were killed in security operations in Bajaur and South Waziristan agencies, official sources said on Sunday. They added that a key Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander, Rehmat Ali, was also arrested along with his associate during the operations. Nine militants were killed in Bajaur and seven in Azam Warsak area of South Waziristan where 13 militants were also wounded. Security forces have been battling against TTP-led terrorists in the mountainous region of northwest Pakistan since 2008. End.
