14 terrorists killed in Orakzai operation

HANGU: At least 14 terrorists were killed and several others injured in an operation by security forces in different areas of the Upper Orakzai Agency, officials said on Saturday. According to official sources, four hideouts of the terrorists were also destroyed in the crackdown. The forces are advancing in the area, the sources added. Orakzai is the only tribal agency of the country, which does not border Afghanistan. Security forces have been carrying out operations against terrorists in the Orakzai Agency despite the military's announcement earlier that the official operation in the area was over and that it had been cleared of terrorists. However, recent attacks and activities by terrorists in the region have led to renewed operations by security forces. The area has been witnessing the worst acts of terrorism where hundreds of people have been killed. End.
