14 killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: As many as 14 people, including political workers and a police inspector were killed in separate act of violence on Wednesday.
A Pakistan Custom's sub-inspector and his nephew were shot dead in Quaidabad police precincts. SHO Aman Ullah Marwat said two unidentified motorcyclists fired at 50-year-old Syed Bahawal Shah and his 25-year-old Bakar Shah.
Separately, 44-year-old Mukhtiar, a policeman, was killed at Ittehad Town in the precincts of Baldia Town police.
A worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Abid, 35, was gunned down in Kharadar. Meanwhile, Zubair, member of Bengali Action Committee (BAC) was killed in Zia Colony.
Separately, Munir Shah was gunned down on Tariq Road. An MQM supporter was killed inside his shop at Mithadar. Meanwhile, 28-year-old Abdul Ghaffar was killed in Rasheedabad. Tasleem was shot dead at Gulbahar near Patel Gali. A body packed in a gunny bag was found from Orangi Town. A man was stabbed to death in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
Another man was killed at Saiful Goth. One man was shot dead in Ayub Goth.
