12 flood-hit protesters injured by guards' firing

QUETTA: At least 12 people, including a woman, were wounded on Thursday when armed guards of a local administrator opened fire to disperse protesters in Naseerabad district during distribution of relief goods among flood victims.

According to reports, administer Ejaz Hussain Khosa was visiting Tehsil Chattar to distribute relief goods when flood victims started a massive protest and stopped his vehicle.

Khosa's guards opened fire to disperse the protesters, injuring 12 people. The injured were moved to hospital.
