JACOBABAD: Grandson of gaddi nasheen (caretaker) of Qambar Dargah was killed and ten people, including Sain Hussain Shah, and another of his grandson were injured in a remote-controlled bomb explosion at a religious gathering at the Goth Ahmad Din Brohi on Wednesday.

As soon as Sain Hussain Shah reached the site of the meeting, there was a huge blast. As a result of which Sain Hussain Shah and 10 people were injured and his grandson was killed. Police and rescue personnel shifted the injured people to a nearby hospital where condition of all the wounded people was stated to be out of danger.

A heavy contingent of police cordoned off the area after the blast and launched a search for the culprits. Followers of Sain Hussain Shah staged dharnas in Jacobabad and Larkana to protest the blast, and tension spread in Qamar Shahzadkot. Business centres in various cities and towns were closed and transport was suspended.

A large number of followers of Sain Hussain Shah started reaching the dargah. Reports said that Sain Hussain Shah received minor injuries only.
