Officials of the Finance Ministry have been unable to proceed to Dubai to hold talks with the IMF team due to visa problems despite two-day wait.

Finance Ministry officials say that UAE authorities refused to issue the visas for the second time. They also said that even Foreign Ministry's attempts to help secure visas have been futile thereby endangering the talks between Pakistan and the IMF.

If the visas are issued on Thursday, it would be OK otherwise talks could be held in pakistan or any other country. However, there are also chances of the IMF team returning without the meeting.
