Price of Petrol, CNG down; kerosene oil up

The Ministry of Finance on Sunday approved the revision in price of petroleum products after which the price of petroleum and CNG has been reduced while the price of high speed diesel and kerosene oil has been slashed for the next week.
According to the revision, the price of petrol has been slashed by Rs 2.09 effective Monday.
On the other hand, the price high speed diesel has been increased by Rs 3.10 while the price of of kerosene oil and high octane have been increased by Rs 1.92 and light diesel by Rs 1.23 per litre respectively.
Following the revision in prices from Monday, petrol will be available at the new price of Rs 103.40 per litre, diesel at Rs 113.62 per litre, kerosene at Rs103.87 per litre and light diesel at Rs97.93 per litre.
CNG price has been slashed by Rs 1.92 and Rs 1.74 a kilogram in Region 1 and Region 2 respectively.
The prices would be effective for a week starting midnight tonight.
