NEPRA approved the increase after hearing the application of Central Power Purchasing Company.

The increase is allowed under the head of fuel adjustment and it would be decided at the time of teh issuance of the notification that in which month it would be collected.

This increase would not apply to the consumers of KESC as well as to consumers consuming upto 50 units of power.
