LPG price reduced by Rs 5 a kilo

The price of LPG has been reduced by Rs 5 a kilo while the price domestic cylinder is slashed by Rs 60 and commercial cylinder is slashed by Rs 240.

According to chairman of LPG Distributors Association Ifran Khokhar the decision to reduce the price of LPG in the local market was made after Rs 5,000 reduction for a metric ton of LPG in the international market.
The price of LPG in the international market has gone down by $ 45 to $ 910 per metric ton.
After the reduction the price of LPG in Karachi has come down to Rs 140 a kilo while in most cities of Punjab including Lahore LPG would sell for Rs 145 a kilo.
In Islamabad and Murree the per kilogram of LPG is fixed at Rs 155 and Rs 160 respectively.
