MULTAN: Agri Forum south Punjab President Rao Afsar on Tuesday demanded the government to start purchase of wheat from April 5 instead of April 20, as the wheat crop was ready for harvest in Katcha areas. In a statement here, he said the government must focus to improve the agriculture sector to reduce increasing inflation in the country. He said the government should consider farmers' problems before announcing an agriculture policy and purchasing products from them as the farmers are facing a lot of problems in cultivating and harvesting the crops.
