The Economic Coordination Committee has approved plan to import 1 billion cubic foot LNG gas in a meeting chaired by Finance Minister.

The import of LNG is allowed to help lessen the gas shortage in the country.

In addition, the ECC also approved export of 200,000 tons sugar.
