Sugar import tender awarded to second lowest bidder

ISLAMABAD: The Trading Corporation of Pakistan on Tuesday awarded 50,000 tons of sugar to the second bidder at $649 a ton after the lowest bidder failed to fulfil the deficiencies in the bid document, said an official of the TCP on Tuesday.
