Muslims have a long history of backstabbing and killing each other, but the authority and conviction they kill one another these days is outright astonishing. In the old days when a Muslim was killed while fighting the nonbelievers there was no confusion as to who the ‘Shaheed’/Martyr was. Regrettably, the distinction is not that obvious when one Muslim kills another. Regardless of the circumstances under which one dies, it seems, these days whenever a Muslim loses his life to another Muslim in a fight, fashionably we tend to bestow the honor and title of Shaheed upon the dead. For people, like me, with a very basic knowledge of practices and principles of Islam such a scenario is nothing short of paradoxical. The paradox becomes even more complex when two Muslims effectively kill each other and we hastily title both of them as Shaheeds.

In Islam, ’shahadat’/ martyrdom is one of the most revered ambition and honor that true believer can hold. This is because shadat entitles the Shaheed with one of the highest rewards possible for such persons in the hereafter. Abdullah-Ibn-Umar quoted the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be Upon Him/PBUH) as saying, "Martyrs are forgiven their sins, except debts”. Muslim scholars opine, the phrase “except debts” also relates implicitly to the abuse of people’s rights, unjustified killing, and so on.

It suffices here to quote the ultimate stature Allah has promised for the martyrs. Almighty Allah says:  “Think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead. Nay, they are living. With their Lord they have provision. Jubilant (are they) because of that which Allah hath bestowed upon them of His bounty, rejoicing for the sake of those who have not joined them but are left behind: that there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. They rejoice because of favor from Allah and kindness, and that Allah wasteth not the wage of the believers.” (Al-Imran 3: 169-71)

The magnanimity of the rewards for a Shaheed is very obvious, but what is not so obvious is who deserves to be called a Shaheed? Similarly we do not want to disgrace and disrespect a worthy titleholder by ignoring to remember him as a Shaheed.

Deeds are judged according to one's intention. We can only judge them according to what is apparent to us, but only Allah can judge their intentions. It may happen that sometimes we may regard someone a Shaheed while Allah knows that he is otherwise.

Common sense dictates when two Muslims reach a point of conflict where they end up using deadly force against each other one has to be on the right side, and the other on the weaker or wrong side. In this life there is no way for us to know for sure who will be awarded the shadat, so all we can do is go over the teachings of Quran, and Sunnah to educate ourselves, to the best of our abilities, so we could come up with an educated guess as to who may quantify as a Shaheed.

The Quran and the Sunnah are abundant with provisions that crystallize and emphasize one of the important objectives of Islam of safeguarding people's life, property and honor. In light of this objective Islam prohibits aggression against innocent people. Al-Bukhari reported "A woman (was made to) enter (Hell) Fire because of a cat which she tied, neither giving it food nor setting it free to eat from the vermin of the earth." If we risk entering the hellfire for the cruelty to animals then imagine, what will be the fate of the suicide-bombers who often shed innocent's blood and violate their rights?

When a suicide-bomber kills himself in the process of taking lives of other Muslims, oddly the Muslim group which sent him calls the bomber a Shaheed; despite the fact, majority of times the victims of these bombers happens to be unsuspected Muslim civilians, including women and children. Ordinary Muslims often find themselves at loss as to how a suicide-bomber whose victims are also Muslims could be called a Shaheed?

However, in Islamic jurisprudence self-defense is legal, even if it leads to manslaughter, as it would then be forced, not optional. For example, unlike a suicide-bomber whose intention is to kill as many people as he can, a policeman could shoot to kill a suicide-bomber in an attempt to defend himself and the innocent people he has sworn to protect. Muslim scholars suggest that not everyone who is killed in this disorder of fighting between the two Muslim parties will be destined to the hellfire. Surely, there is a difference between a person who is killed when illegally attacking another, and a person who kills his attacker in self-defense or in the defense of innocent. Jurists are of the opinion that people should defend themselves with the lightest possible means, but if these means fall short of repelling the danger, stronger force can be used, even if it leads to the death of the assailant(s).

Recently, in a standoff between the Pakistani military and Islamic militants holed up in the ‘Lal Masjid’ dozens of lives were wasted on both sides. Lo and behold! Both sides conferred their fallen ones with the ultimate title of Shaheed. Most distinguished examples are of Lt. Col Haroon Islam and Maulana Abdul Aziz Ghazi. To an ordinary Muslim it has to be the most paradoxical riddle that how could a Muslim responsible for the deliberate death of another Muslim could enjoy this ultimate honor?  In order to solve this riddle first we need to make a distinction between the offender and the defender.

The Holy Quran says, “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.” (An-Nisa: 59) This verse hardly leaves any doubt that Muslims are instructed to obey the state's authority.  Following hadith reinforces this principle: “It is your duty to listen and obey your rulers whether you are in difficulty or at ease, whether willingly or unwillingly and even when you do not receive what is your right.” (Muslim: No. 1836)

Some may argue, what if the rulers have questionable character?  If faced with such a scenario prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has advised, “He who sees something despicable in his ruler should bear it, for he who even slightly disassociates himself from the state system and dies in this condition shall die the death of ignorance.” (Bukhari: No. 7054)

Allah and his messenger (PBUH) have ordered us to respect and obey even our questionable Muslim rulers and have strongly advised us not to undermine state's authority. Forcibly interfering in the government's business can break our collectivity apart, and can disrupt the governance, which can result in the break up of a Muslim state. Cognizant to the fact that Islam entrusts the state with the duties of policing, it can very well be argued that those who may lose their lives while assisting the state in dispensing its policing duties holds a special stature, perhaps of a Shaheed.

Allah says: “Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion: He instructs you, that ye may receive admonition.” (An-Nahl 16: 90) An eminent Muslim scholar Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi further elaborated these instructions of Allah: “No doubt, aggression against innocent people is a grave sin and a heinous crime, irrespective of the victim's religion, country, or race. No one is permitted to commit such crime, for Allah, Most High, abhors aggression. Unlike Judaism, Islam does not hold a double-standard policy in safeguarding human rights.”

Unity among Muslims holds a paramount status in Islam. Islamic principles are crystal clear about how the Muslims are obligated to obey the orders of their rulers, because Islam understands and emphasizes in the concept of collectivity which naturally gets undermined and compromised when certain group(s) disrupt this concept by spreading violence through fiery sermons calling to pick up arms against the government. Only exception for taking down a government is provided if the ruler orders Muslims to commit a sin. There are no other exceptions to this rule even if we don't agree with our government’s domestic or foreign policies. Allah’s messenger Muhammad (PBUH) said, “Whether they like it or not, it is obligatory on the faithful to listen and to obey their rulers except when they be ordered to commit a sin. If they are ordered so, they should neither listen nor obey.” (Muslim: No. 1839)

Henceforth, it is difficult to imagine how a Muslim who intended to harm the interests of the state through injustice and/or rebellion could be the viewed as a Shaheed vs. a government official who lost his life in the process of executing his duties of defending the state and its citizens.

When certain elements challenge state’s authority by taking it upon themselves to set the world straight through their own vision they commit a grave sin. In fact, anyone who tries to undermine the principle of collectivity has been ordered to be killed by Allah’s messenger (PBUH), “You are organized under the rule of a person and someone tries to break your collectivity apart or disrupt your government, kill him.” (Muslim: No. 1852)

Only Allah knows the best, but if we are to look at the recent examples of suicide-bombings and attacks on the government forces, in the light of the Quranic verses and ahhadith quoted above, we could dare to come up with an educated conclusion, that people who spread indiscriminate violence and mischief/shur in an Islamic state stand guilty of committing grave sins.

From the Islamic point of view, it is haram (forbidden) to kill civilians and innocent souls or to destroy or burn plants, trees, etc. The Qur’an says, “…Take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law: thus does He command you, that ye may learn wisdom.” (Al-Anam: 151)

The mischievous elements who had been dividing Muslims at the barrel of gun also try to undermine the state by assassinating the foreigners who are supposed to be the guests of the Muslim state. Clearly, the intent is not only to harm the government domestically, but also to put it at odds with other nations too. Islamic jurisprudence known as Ahd al-Aman is very clear about providing protection of life and safety to non-Muslim civilians and the foreigners in Muslim countries. Hence any attacks against their life or property are forbidden in Islam.

For those who engineer conflicts to take shortcuts to the heavens through shahadat are advised to read Quran, which says, “Nor take life, which Allah has made sacred, except for just cause. And if anyone is slain wrongfully, We have given his heir authority (to demand Qisas or to forgive): but let him not exceed bounds in the matter of taking life; for he is helped (by the law).” (Al-Isra: 33)

Instead of resorting to violence Muslims are instructed to resolve their differences through peaceful means.  Quran is quite clear about how Muslims should resolve their differences.  It says, “And if two parties of believers fall to fighting, then make peace between them” (Al-Hujurat 49:9) Then Allah further elaborates in the next verse, “The believers are naught else than brothers. Therefore make peace between your brethren” (Al-Hujurat 49:10).

In light of Allah’s commands, it becomes incumbent upon each and every Muslim to shun the extremists who try to divide Muslims and impose their views them through fear and bloodshed, we need to counsel them by showing them how Allah has ordered us to resolve our differences through peaceful means and certainly not through violence.

Finally, for our benefit, Allah commands us not to let the mischievous ones force us to depart from the path of brotherhood, “Do not let your hatred of people who would debar you from the Sacred Mosque lead you into aggression; but rather help one another in furthering righteousness and piety, and do not help one another in furthering evil and aggression. Have fear of God, for God is severe in retribution.” (Al-Maidah 5:2)

Verily, Allah sees and knows all. He will certainly distinguish the true Shaheed from the wannabe.

Shaheed 1

Who is Shaheed?

History is witness that whenever any nation decline toward its final destiny, first of all its rulers, educated class or scholars start controversial discussions which divide the society and lead the nation to greet invaders to ruin the country.

Pakistan has been converted in to an observatory to conduct different type of experiments, diverse ideologies and cultures were imposed on the society.

After 911 a new class of intellectuals and scholars appeared like rainy frogs. Foreign funded rulers, NGO’s, media and clergy which have their vested interests and agenda, who hi jacked media. A large number of Islamophobic, ex-Islam, atheists and vulgarism extremists who used 911 incidences as a central point to execute their personal agenda started to divide society on the basis of hate, Musharraf among them worked as a tool to implement their doctrine practically, it was a great desire of anarchists to made Pakistan Army a party. Initially those lodged propaganda against Pakistan Army, such as there are large numbers of Al-Qaeda and Taliban sympathizers in Army, which are hurdle in the agenda of neo-Imperialism. After great efforts that group successfully achieved its target, the last hope of patriot Pakistani’s drowned when Army finally became party.

We predicted and warn Pakistan Army many times, be neutral, don’t play in the hands of anti-Pakistan elements but sycophant Generals did not bother to listen. After killing, abduction and humiliation of students of Jamia Hafsa and Lal Masjid, by destroying sanctity of Mosque and women institution, a permanent blood line has been created.

Before the start of invasion we informed that a civil war will start in Pakistan if Army will become party, unfortunately it has been started successfully and enemies of Pakistan are taking advantage of the situation.

Now position of Pakistan has reached to an alarming dangerous point, Pakistan Army which conducted operation by thrust of anti-Pakistan elements and foreign agents, who are selling their selves for the sake of a few dollars, are established moles of foreign intelligence agencies. Whereas patriot Pakistanis and supporters of Army have been divided and at least fifty percent of total population of Pakistan is now ready to go to any limit against Army and present regime.

We are unable to help because it is a duty of politicians to bring back normal situation in Pakistan and expose anarchists and fascists which are using Army as a tool.

Supreme Court of Pakistan has failed to help in restoration of rule of law. Missing person’s case is lingering since long, Brig (R) Cheema and Secretary Kamal Shah of Interior is so powerful that judges are afraid of consequences. Supreme Court failed to stop blood shed of Lal Masjid, closed their eyes and let destruction happened right in front of Supreme Court of Pakistan, thousand killed, abducted, imprisoned, dead bodies humiliated, nerve gas, canons, armored vehicles, planes, choppers and chemicals were used. On the whole great massacre of 21st century happened; finally criminals in the day light removed all proofs and evidences. Supreme Court is doing nothing except issuing attractive remarks to please public; practically they did nothing. Except a miracle which happened with the hands of Supreme Court, the case of Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry, a remarkable achievement and a mile stone in the history of civilization.

Lal Masjid is sold for the sake of money and political benefits; nation is divided on sectarian lines.

Anarchist, vulgar extremists and foreign moles are bashing Islam and Quran, it is miracle of Quran that those have failed to degrade holy book, and still revolving around a few Ayahs of Quran, to tort and dig out hate propagation material of their interest, but their credibility is a question mark in the eyes of the public.

A sycophant columnist demonstrated that killed students at Lal Masjid are not Shaheed but on other hand killed Fauji’s are just Shaheeds. In this situation unfortunately most Ulma are in coma, Makhdoom and Pirzada’s are sleeping in luxurious bed rooms, it has left no choice for us except to reply those anarchists according to our knowledge and wisdom. Najam Sethi type Indian agents and retired Military columnist have same tone now a days, we never imagined that how racist and discriminatory mentaliy those had, it was our mistake that we overlooked such criminals, however now those have exposed to public.

The Holy Quran says, “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.” (An-Nisa: 59).

Shaheed 2

The Holy Quran says, “O you who believe! Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority. (And) if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if you believe in Allah and in the Last Day. That is better and more suitable for final determination.” (An-Nisa: 59).

Most appealing part of above surah, which Anarchist and extremist quote is “and those of you (Muslims) who are in authority”.

Which authority Muslims may obey?

Explanation according to Tafhim ul Quran:

This verse is the cornerstone of the entire religious, social and political structure of Islam, and the very first clause of the constitution of an Islamic state. It lays down the following principles as permanent guidelines:
(1) In the Islamic order of life, God alone is the focus of loyalty and obedience. A Muslim is the servant of God before anything else, and obedience and loyalty to God constitute the centre and axis of both the individual and collective life of a Muslim. Other claims to loyalty and obedience are acceptable only insofar as they remain secondary and subservient, and do not compete with those owed to God. All loyalties which may tend to challenge the primacy of man's loyalty to God must be rejected. This has been expressed by the Prophet in the following words: 'There may be no obedience to any creature in disobedience to the Creator.' (Muslim, 'Iman', 37; Ahmad b. Hanbal, Musnad, vol. 3, p. 472 - Ed.)
(2) Another basic principle of the Islamic order of life is obedience to the Prophet. No Prophet, of course, is entitled to obedience in his own right. Obedience to Prophets, however, is the only practical way of obeying God, since they are the only authentic means by which He communicates His injunctions and ordinances to men. Hence, we can obey God only if we obey a Prophet. Independent obedience to God is not acceptable, and to turn one's back on the Prophets amounts to rebellion against God.

(3) In the Islamic order of life Muslims are further required to obey fellow Muslims in authority. This obedience follows, and is subordinate to, obedience to God and the Prophet.

Those invested with authority (ulu al-amr) include all those entrusted with directing Muslims in matters of common concern. Hence, persons 'invested with authority' include the intellectual and political leaders of the community, as well as administrative officials, judges of the courts, tribal chiefs and regional representatives. In all these capacities, those 'invested with authority' are entitled to obedience, and it is improper for Muslims to cause dislocation in their collective life by engaging in strife and conflict with them.

This obedience is contingent, however, on two conditions: first, that these men should be believers; and second, that they should themselves be obedient to God and the Prophet.

A Muslim is obliged to heed and to obey an order whether he likes it or not, as long as he is not ordered to carry out an act of disobedience to God (ma'siyah). When ordered to carry out an act of disobedience-to God he need neither heed nor obey.

There is no obedience in sin; obedience is only in what is good (ma'ruf). (For these traditions see Bukhari, 'Ahkam', 4; 'Jihad', 108; Muslim, 'Amarah', 39; Tirmidhi, 'Jihad', 29; Ibn Majah, 'Jihad', 40; Ahmad b. Hanbal, Musnad, vol. 2, pp. 17 and 142 - Ed.)

There will be rulers over you, some of whose actions you will consider good and others abominable. Who even disapproves of their abominable acts will be acquitted of all blame, and whoever resents them he too will remain secure (from all blame); not so one who approves and follows them in their abominable acts. They (i.e. the Companions) asked: 'Should we not fight against them?' The Prophet (peace be on him) said: 'No, not as long as they continue to pray.' (Bukhari, 'Jihad', 108 - Ed.)

This means that their abandonment of Prayer will be a clear sign of their having forsaken obedience to God and the Prophet. Thereafter it becomes proper to fight against them.
Your worst leaders are those whom you hate and who hate you; whom you curse and who curse you. We asked: 'O Messenger of God! Should we not rise against them?' The Prophet said: 'No, not as long as they establish Prayer among you: not as long as they establish Prayer among you.' (See Muslim, 'Amarah', 65, 66; Tirmidhi, 'Fitan', 77; Darimi, 'Riqaq, 78; Ahmad b. Hanbal, Musnad, vol. 6, pp. 24, 28 - Ed.)

Shaheed 3

In this tradition the position is further clarified. The earlier tradition could have created the impression that it was not permissible to revolt against rulers as long as they observed their Prayers privately. But the latter tradition makes it clear that what is really meant by 'praying' is the establishment of the system of congregational Prayers in the collective life of Muslims. This means that it is by no means sufficient that the rulers merely continue observing their Prayers: it is also necessary that the system run by them should at least be concerned with the establishment of Prayer. This concern with Prayer is a definite indication that a government is essentially an Islamic one. But if no concern for establishing Prayer is noticed, it shows that the government has drifted far away from Islam making it permissible to overthrow it. The same principle is also enunciated by the Prophet in another tradition, in which the narrator says: 'The Prophet also made us pledge not to rise against our rulers unless we see them involved in open disbelief, so that we have definite evidence against them to lay before God' (Bukhari and Muslim).
(4) In an Islamic order the injunctions of God and the way of the Prophet constitute the basic law and paramount authority in all matters. Whenever there is any dispute among Muslims or between the rulers and the ruled the matter should be referred to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and all concerned should accept with sincerity whatever judgment results. In fact, willingness to take the Book of God and the Sunnah of His Messenger as the common point of reference, and to treat the judgment of the Qur'an and the Sunnah as the last word on all matters, is a central characteristic which distinguishes an Islamic system from un-Islamic ones. Some people question the principle that we should refer everything to the Book of God and the Sunnah of the Prophet. They wonder how we can possibly do so when there are numerous practical questions involved, for example, rules and regulations relating to municipal administration, the management of railways and postal services and so on which are not treated at all in these sources. This doubt arises, however, from a misapprehension about Islam. The basic difference between a Muslim and a non-Muslim is that whereas the latter feels free to do as he wishes, the basic characteristic of a Muslim is that he always looks to God and to His Prophet for guidance, and where such guidance is available, a Muslim is bound by it. On the other hand, it is also quite important to remember that when no specific guidance is available, a Muslim feels free to exercise his discretion because the silence of the Law indicates that God Himself has deliberately granted man the freedom to make his decision.
Since the Qur'an is not merely a legal code, but also seeks to instruct, educate, admonish and exhort, the earlier sentence which enunciates a legal principle is followed by another which explains its underlying purpose and wisdom. Two things are laid down. First, that faithful adherence to the above four principles is a necessary requirement of faith. Anyone who claims to be a Muslim and yet disregards the principles of Islam involves himself in gross self-contradiction. Second, the well-being of Muslims lies in basing their lives on those principles. This alone can keep them on the straight path in this life, and will lead to their salvation in the Next. It is significant that this admonition follows immediately after the section which embodies comments about the moral and religious condition of the Jews. Thus the Muslims were subtly directed to draw a lesson from the depths to which the Jews had sunk, as a result of their deviation from the fundamental principles of true faith just mentioned. Any community that turns its back upon the Book of God and the guidance of His Prophets, that willingly follows rulers and leaders who are heedless of God and His Prophets, and that obeys its religious and political authorities blindly without seeking authority for their actions either in the Book of God or in the practice of the Prophets, will inevitably fall into the same evil and corruption as the Israelites.

Shaheed 4

There is no submission in matters involving God's disobedience or displeasure, if you may refuse authority for sinful orders:

Messenger of Allah sent a force (on a mission) and appointed over them a man. He kindled a fire and said: Enter it. Some people made up their minds to enter it (the fire), (carrying out the order of their commander), but the others said: We fled from the fire (that's why we have come into the fold of Islam). The matter was reported to the Messenger of Allah. He said to those who contemplated entering (the fire at the order of their commander): If you had entered it, you would have remained there until the Day of Judgment. He commanded the act of the latter group and said: There is no submission in matters involving God's disobedience or displeasure. Submission is obligatory only in what is good (and reasonable). (Book 20, Number 4535: Sahih Muslim)

We will discuss later whether present rulers are authority or not, so first we will watch their actions either those are according to teachings of explanation above:

Seven Mosques demolished

“And who is more unjust than those who forbid that Allâh's Name be glorified and mentioned much (i.e. prayers and invocations, etc.) in Allâh's Mosques and strive for their ruin? It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them (Allâh's Mosques) except in fear”. Al-Baqarah: 114

Places of worship should properly remain in the custody of devout and God-fearing people, so that even if bad people did go there they would be deterred from committing misdeeds through fear of punishment. This is a subtle reference to the wrong perpetrated by the unbelievers of Makka, who had barred their own compatriots - the Muslims - from worshipping in the House of God.

Hypocrites worship to Taughut

Which power is Taughut and who is obeying that power?

Have you seen those (hypocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgment (in their disputes) to the Tâghût (false judges, etc.) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitân (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray. (An-Nisa: 60)

Taghut clearly signifies here a sovereign who judges things according to criteria other than the law of God. It also stands for a legal and judicial system which acknowledges neither the sovereignty of God nor the paramount authority of the Book of God. This verse categorically proclaims that to refer disputes to the judgment of a court of law which is essentially taghut contravenes the dictates of a believer's faith. In fact, true faith in God and His Book necessarily requires that a man should refuse to recognize the legitimacy of such courts. According to the Qur'an, belief in God necessitates repudiation of the authority of taghut. To try to submit both to God and to taghut at the same time is hypocrisy.

Shaheed 5

Evil, transgression and moral decadence

O ye who believe! Take not for friends and protectors those who take your religion for a mockery or sport, - whether among those who received the Scripture before you, or among those who reject Faith; but fear ye Allah, if ye have faith (indeed).

Say: "O people of the Book! Do ye disapprove of us for no other reason than that we believe in Allah and the revelation that hath come to us and that which came before (us) and (perhaps) that most of you are rebellious and disobedient?"

Say: "Shall I point out to you something much worse than this, (as judged) by the treatment it received from Allah. those who incurred the curse of Allah and His wrath, those of whom some He transformed into apes and swine, those who worshipped evil;- these are (many times) worse in rank, and far more astray from the even path!" (Al-Ma’ida: 57, 59, 60)

The purpose of saying all this is to draw attention to their criminal boldness while they had sunk to the lowest level of evil, transgression and moral decadence; they vigorously opposed all those who, thanks to their faith, lived a truly pious and righteous life.

Brothels, massage centers, alcoholism, nudeness, vulgarity, porn culture and many other evils are the result of morale decadency reached to climax under the rule of present authority. This is the worst time in the history of Pakistan that Armed Forces are backing vulgar extremists.

Government servants and other peoples who are obeying orders which are sin is a crime and those should not follow the orders

“Whether they like it or not, it is obligatory on the faithful to listen and to obey their rulers except when they be ordered to commit a sin. If they are ordered so, they should neither listen nor obey.” (Muslim: No. 1839)

Holy Prophet said: It is obligatory upon a Muslim that he should listen (to the ruler appointed over him) and obey him whether he likes it or not, except that he is ordered to do a sinful thing. If he is ordered to do a sinful act, a Muslim should neither, listen to him nor should he obeys his orders. (Book 20, Number 4533: Sahih Muslim)

It is illegal for the state servants to kill, abduct, imprison or invade on political grounds. We have many cases as an example including famous case of Bhutto, employees of FSF were punished by Supreme Court. Many cases in International court of justice were brought against those civil servants who committed genocide; massacre or target killings were punished.

When Time of fighting comes hypocrites start lame excuses.

Those who have believed, were saying, "Why is not a Surah sent down (to enjoin fighting)?" But when a decisive Surah was sent down in which fighting had been mentioned, you saw those in whose hearts was a disease, looking towards you like the one under the shadow of death. *32 Alas for them! (On their tongue is) the promise of (Muhammad: 20)

The hypocrites offered the Prayer just as the true believers did: they observed the Fast just like them, and practiced every article of the Faith as made no demand of a sacrifice on them. But when time came for making the supreme sacrifice of life for the sake of Islam, their hypocrisy was exposed and their veil of false display of the Faith was rent asunder. In Surah An-Nisa', their state has been described thus: "Have you marked those to whom it was said: withholds your hands a while and establish the salat and pay the zakat? Now that the fighting has been enjoined for them, some of them fear the people as they should fear Allah, or even snore than that; they say: Our Lord, why have you enjoined fighting for us? Why have you not given us a brief respite?" (v. 77)

The gang of hypocrite rulers first used word Jihad for their vested interests, played with the religious sentiments, helped, trained and transported them to Afghanistan and Kashmir. As soon as Taughut turned its direction, those changed the direction too, without consulting and taking into confidence a large number of peoples who devotedly joined fighting to be fooled as Jihad. Musharraf says that was Jihad then now other Taghut has invaded the same Dar ul Islam, why is this not Jihad? It is hypocrisy because now Taughut want personal involvement of “Authority” to fight against all those who were termed as Mujahideen for their interests, now labelled as terrorists. Zia and Benazir were on front in dispensing Al-Qaeda and Taliban. Now Benazir and Musharraf are using same tone which above Ayah reflects.

There will be leaders, who will not be led by my guidance, and who will not adopt my ways?

He (the Holy Prophet) said: Yes. I said: Will there be a good time after this bad time? He said: Yes. I said: Will there be a bad time after good time? He said: Yes. I said: How? Whereupon he said: There will be leaders who will not be led by my guidance and who will not adopt my ways? (Book 20, Number 4554: Sahih Muslim)

Shaheed 6

According to state constitution, who illegally occupy the Government must be hanged

Messenger of Allah said: When oath of allegiance has been taken for two caliphs, kill the one for whom the oath was taken later. (Book 20, Number 4568: Sahih Muslim)

Now think that denied the country laws and performed illegal act, that person could not be authority which break supreme law of the country. That Government is illegal by removing constitutional President, humiliating Chief Justice etc. etc.

Breach of Trust

I said to the Holy Prophet Messenger of Allah, will you not appoint me to a public office? He stroked my shoulder with his hand and said: Abu Dharr, thou art weak and authority is a trust. And on the Day of Judgment it is a cause of humiliation and repentance except for one who fulfils its obligations and (properly) discharges the duties attendant thereon. (Book 20, Number 4491: Sahih Muslim)

Person who promised publicly that he will remove uniform, later refused. Used force to kill hundred of Muslims in Tribal areas, provide Jacobabad base to kill thousand of Afghans, fake elections, referendum, buying politicians, using Mujahideen in Kashmir and later labeling them terrorist and many other examples could be quoted as a reference.

Cruelty on account of public

I came to A'isha to inquire something from her. She said: From which people art thou? I said: I am from the people of Egypt. She said: What was the behavior of your governor towards you in this war of yours? I said: We did not experience anything bad from him. If the camel of a man from us died, he would bestow on him a camel. If any one of us lost his slave, he would give him a slave. If anybody was in need of the basic necessities of life, he would provide them with provisions. She said: Behold! The treatment that was meted out to my brother, Muhammad b. Abu Bakr, does not prevent me from telling you what I heard from the Messenger of Allah. He said in this house of mine: O God, who (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is hard upon them-be Thou hard upon him, and who (happens to) acquire some kind of control over the affairs of my people and is kind to them-be Thou kind to him. (Book 20, Number 4494: Sahih Muslim)

Missing peoples, massacre of Karachi, destroying and demolishing Mosques while peoples were inside the Mosques and religious schools, is a cruelty or coward act. You will find no kindness right from economics to welfare; a total number of peoples killed from Oct. 1999 to date are more then Sept 1965 war.

Use of Public wealth

The Messenger of appointed a man in charge of Sadaqat. When he came (back), the Messenger of Allah asked him to render his account. He said: This wealth is for you (i.e. for the public treasury) and this is a gift (presented to me). The Messenger of Allah said: You should have remained in the house of your father and your mother, until your gift came to you if you spoke the truth; then he addressed us. He praised God and extolled Him, and afterwards said: I appoint a man from you to a responsible post sharing with the authority that God has entrusted to me, and he comes to me saying: This wealth is for you (i.e. for the public treasury) and this is a gift presented to me. Why did he not remain in the house of his father and his mother and his gift came to him, if he was truthful? By God, any one of you will not take anything from (the public funds) without any justification, but will meet his Lord carrying it on himself on the Day of Judgment. (Book 20, Number 4511 Sahih Muslim)

say: Whoso from you is appointed by us to a position of authority and he conceals from us a needle or something smaller than that, it would be misappropriation (of public funds) and will (have to) produce it on the Day of Judgment. (Book 20, Number 4514 Sahih Muslim)

What present Government is doing? Receiving loans and aid from foreign countries and not utilizing that money fairly. Ranking of Pakistan in corruption very high and it is considered un-civilized state. All the appointments on civilian post filled with retired Fauji’s are a kind of corruption by force. Sale of country’s assets and foreign visits on state expenses, even umra is performed on state expenses. This is worst example of misuse of sate funds etc. etc.

Authority is answerable to his affairs

Holy Prophet said: Beware. Every one of you is a shepherd and every one is answerable with regard to his flock. The Caliph is a shepherd over the people and shall be questioned about his subjects (as to how he conducted their affairs), (Book 20, Number 4496: Sahih Muslim)

Authority is answerable for his conduct, in Pakistan if any body may raise a question in public, next day agencies abduct the entire family. There is fear among citizens and humiliation to peoples is so high that NATZI Germany’s score is almost equal to atrocities committed by present Sheppard. Dictator considers him un-answerable to any other institution in the country by imposing fake laws.

Hypocrite, liar, treacherous and impudent

The Prophet said, "Whoever has (the following) four characters will be a hypocrite, and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy until he gives it up. These are: (1) Whenever he talks, he tells a lie; (2) whenever he makes a promise, he breaks it; (3) whenever he makes a covenant he proves treacherous; (4) and whenever he quarrels, he behaves impudently in an evil insulting manner." (See Hadith No. 33 Vol. 1)

Who has above four characteristics? Think who showed two dogs to west? Who wrote in his book that his mother was a prize winner dancer? The person who has worst morale character could not be an authority in any sense.

Human life is sacred

and do not slay the soul sanctified by Allah except in just cause; this He has enjoined upon you so that you may understand; (Al-An'am: 151)

This means that human life, which has been declared inviolable by God, can only be destroyed for just cause. As for what is meant by 'just cause', we ought to remember that three cases are embodied in the Qur'an whereas two additional cases have been stated by the Prophet. The cases mentioned by the Qur'an are the following: (1) Tthat a man is convicted of deliberate homicide and thus the claim of retaliation is established against him.
(2) That someone resists the establishment of the true faith so that fighting against him might become necessary.
(3) That someone is guilty of spreading disorder in the Domain of Islam and strives to overthrow the Islamic order of government.
The two cases mentioned in the Hadith are:
(1) That a person commits illegitimate sexual intercourse even after marriage.
(2) That a Muslim is guilty of apostasy and rebellion against the Muslim body-politic.
Except for these five reasons, slaying a human being is not permissible, regardless of whether he is a believer, a protected non-Muslim (dhimmi) or an ordinary unbeliever.

Present regime is not an Islamic state, so item number 3 does not apply to any person neither present ruler has any Islamic authority. Now question is what law permits extra judicial killings, state terrorism and barbaric actions, no civilized society permits such type of killings. Peoples who are acting on behalf of state are equally responsible for their involvement in state terrorism for a few dollars of monthly salary or ranks.

International Professor, Pakistan - 28 July, 2007

Shaheed 7

Such as extra judicial killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti, massacre of Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa is the worst example of state terrorism. More over who burnt and tear off Quran, books of Ahadis and Islamic books with RPG and canons could not be Muslim. Later damaged Quran was thrown in dirty nullah, seen by thousand of peoples.

Invaders on House of Allah fired on the walls where sacred Ayah and names were printed. Minarets of Masjid were destroyed and excessive use of explosive caused Jamia Hafsa entirely ruined. Today on July 28, 2007 ARY showed images of bones of small children and their belongings on the heap of ruined Jamia Hafsa. A doctor is a witness who confirmed bones of minor children. So who committed above acts could not be Shaheed according to Islam, but state could count him killed in official duty. However each had a choice not to attack on a mosque and refuse order. There are many examples when Muslims refused to kill their own brethren or refused to attack on holy places.

Oppression

Said, "A Muslim is a brother of another Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim) brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on the Day of Resurrection. "(Volume 3, Book 43, Number 639)

Muslims were so sold in the greediness of bounty; many innocent persons were sold for the sake of money to disbelievers. Victims are powerless and have no say to fight their case, however we have trust in God that one day each has to stay in queue for screening, it is also seen that God punished peoples in this world too.

Who is true Shaheed according to Islam

Almighty Allah says: “Think not of those, who are slain in the way of Allah, as dead. Nay, they are living. With their Lord they have provision. Jubilant (are they) because of that which Allah hath bestowed upon them of His bounty, rejoicing for the sake of those who have not joined them but are left behind: that there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. They rejoice because of favor from Allah and kindness, and that Allah wasteth not the wage of the believers.” (Al-Imran 3: 169-71)

Here “who are slain in the way of Allah”, surely there is no doubt that students of Lal Masjid and Jamia Hafsa, who is slain for Allah and others slain for Taghut. More over according to secular teachings religion is a personal matter; it is not a public, present regime which is flag bearer of vulgarism on the name of moderation, has no morale value to consider any body Shaheed because according to them religion is a personal matter. Then why only vulgarize columnist are pleading agressors as Shaheed.

Neither present regime has any ability to represent Islamic state as an authority over Muslims as referred in Al-Nisa: 59. It is illegal government without any constitutional backing in Pakistan, except imposition of some orders on gun point. More over this government has committed serious crimes against humanity, any international charter of Human Rights.

Students and teachers who are killed were innocent and Martyr (Shaheed) according to true Islamic spirit.

Invaders who blocked water, electricity, humiliated dead bodies, burn bodies and used nerve gases, chemicals, abducted and imprisoned innocent students, thousand still missing. Invaders are not being Shaheed at all according to Islamic and teachings of any religion, their actions are immoral, illegal and those will be thrown in hell by obeying illegitimate orders of the Dictator.

Peoples who are praying for them are hypocrites and tyrants who are saying students were militants are also trangressors.

Indian Army killing Muslims???

MK,
I am a Hindu. I have some wonderful Muslim friends. Although I don't know much about Islam, I have read about it. Prophet's principles and Islamic faith were some of my great interests. I have a lot of respect for it. When grown up, I always wonder, why ppl from such a great religion take such extremist step? The worst part is that they mention Quran's verses to justify their deeds. I really liked this article. It was very well written. Can't we just accept other's views and live our life our own way? Why is it so difficult? Americans and Indians will run Pak army over??? Why??? If India ever takes such an offensive act, I will have no respect for India. I am sure many of my fellow Indians will agree with me.The same applies to Hinduism as a religion which has taught me tolerance and acceptance. Why can't we think positive and get along ?

islams intolerance

I think that when muslims say that it is clear who the martyr is when a muslim fights a non-believer is at the core of islams intolerance. These fanatics get this support from the 'moderates' of islam, when true compassion of islam would treat all peoples good. Muslims have violated non-muslims as much as vice versa, and to recognize this would be a maturity that would begin to decrease the intolerance of isalm

Shaheed

Who is Shaheed? Part1

Shaheed

Who is Shaheed part2

Shaheed

Who is Shaheed Part 3

Shaheed

Who is Shaheed Part 4

Who is Shaheed Part5
